Five Arrested in Connection with Lead Thefts

Following efforts from the Operation Randall rural crime team, Norfolk officers have arrested five men in connection with ‘going equipped’ theft offences.

The men, who are all aged in their 20s and 30s and from the London area, were stopped on the evening of Thursday 19 January 2017, near to Attleborough.

A number of items, including the two vehicles they were travelling in, were seized and the men arrested.

The five males have been bailed to return on 21st March 2017.

Suffolk and Norfolk police ask the local community to be vigilant around buildings like places of worship and schools, reporting any suspicious activity, particularly the unexpected arrival of builders.
