South Norfolk Council is conducting a public consultation on the key ‘issues and options’ that need to be considered when preparing new Development Mangement policies for South Norfolk – this stage of public consultation will run from Monday 23rd January to Friday 16th March 2012.
The purpose of the Development Management Policies is to make clear what the Council expects of all new developmen and set the policy framework that the Council will use for deciding planning applications in the future. These Policies will replace much of the South Norfolk Local Plan (2003) and sit alongside – the Joint Core Strategy (which applies in Norwich, Broadland and South Norfolk Councils) – national planning policies and other policies and allocations that are adopted South Norfolk.
